MJ Allaire grew up in South Florida. After graduating high school, she joined the Navy and soon found herself stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where she met and married a submariner. Three children and ten years later, she and her family moved to Connecticut. Now a single mother of three and working a full-time job, she wants nothing more than to be a positive example for not only her children, but all children. Her message? That above all, you can do anything you put your mind to!!
MJ loves visiting schools and libraries to talk to children about
reading and writing so don't hesitate to contact her! She is currently

to take the easier road of working on just one book, she just finished working on another novel about her life as an active duty
Navy member, then as a dependent wife, and ultimately as a divorced
mother who stumbles into who she really is after nearly 20 years
